I enjoy going on location and painting. I have favorite spots in Seattle, Montana (especially near Choteau at the base of the Rocky Mountain Front), and along the Oregon Coast. Plein air painting offers a variety of challenges, from wind and cold to sweltering heat. Each painting represents a moment in time drinking in a sense of place.
