BIOGRAPHIC INFORMATION
Jason Waskey was born in Washington D.C. in 1970. He was raised in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and trained as an artist first at Parsons School of Design in New York City, and then received his B.F.A. from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
He has filled a variety of jobs in the arts field; as a freelance illustrator, as an instructor for the Art Institute of Seattle, and as art director for both a newspaper, and a comic book publisher.
In 2008, Jason left an at director position at Microsoft to pursure his fine art full time.
Jason's works have been exhibited nationally and internationally in both group and solo gallery exhibitions. His art has been seen in numerous publications, including a graphic novel co-authored with writer Devin OLeary.
He resides in Seattle, where he paints every day.
